Azaleas

Southern Indica Azaleas

Larger growing varieties, 3-8 feet, in some cases have been known to reach heights up to 10 feet. Most popular in mass plantings away from structures, but with proper pruning they do well next to buildings and under windows. Very popular varieties of Azaleas, they can be found all over the Southeast. They can easily acclimate to agricultural hardiness zone 8, and have been known to acclimate in protected areas up in zone 7. Generally flowers in February or March in Florida

Grows to a height of 2-5 feet. Single Salmon pink flowers.  Heavy bloomer. Known to bloom as early as late fall through spring in Florida.

Loropetalum

Loropetalum is a garden stand-out not just for its richly colored foliage but also because it sets off everything else in your landscaping. Here's the perfect alternative to green-green-green. It's grown more for the beautiful leaf color rather than the small hot pink flowers of the plum or the deep red flowers of the red chocolate.

Crape Myrtle

Crape Myrtle trees provide year around interest with their showy summer blooms, and colorful fall foliage.  Crape Myrtles grow in South Florida westward to Oklahoma and across to Maryland. Once acclimated to environment, they are very hardy and drought tolerant.  We carry varieties that grow as low as 6' to varieties that grow 20'+.
